Timothy Lee Davis, Jr. 71, of East Moline, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., 1902-3rd Avenue, East Moline. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. till service time. Pastor Larry Westbrook will officiate. Burial will be at The Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
Timothy Lee Davis Jr. was born July 22, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri; the son of the late Timothy Lee Davis Sr. and Pauline Betty Jackson. He was a 1970 graduate of United Township High School, East Moline, Timothy served in the US Air Force. He worked as painter at John Deere most of his life.
Timothy enjoyed playing cards and gamed with his family. He enjoyed old cowboy shows such as “Gun Smoke, Rawhide and Bonanza”. Timothy loved to socialize; he knew everybody! He was known to use the phrase “and don’t worry about it”.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Pauline Davis, East Moline, his sons, Phayzon (Cherylanda)Trice and Timothy Davis III, his grandchildren, Keishon Trice and Sereniti Trice, his siblings, Danny (Melody) Davis, Hilda Jones, and Jackie (Vernon) Tabb, a host nieces and nephews and his significant other, Denise Trice.
He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Lee Davis, Sr.
