Timothy Egger

Timothy L. Egger, 62, of East Moline passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center, Rockford, Illinois.

A Celebration of life will be held Friday May 3rd at 6 P.M. at The Logger House 256 S State Ave Hampton IL 61256

Timothy Lynn Egger was born December 8, 1961 in Moline, Illinois; the son of Clester B. and Mary Jane (French) Egger.  Tim was a 1980 graduate of United Township High School, East Moline.  He was working as a machinist for the Rock Island Arsenal at the time of his passing. 

Tim enjoyed riding motorcycles and time at the Casinos.  He was a big Chicago Bears fan.  Tim enjoyed time spent with his family and his beloved dog, “Butkus”.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Clester B. Egger,  East Moline, Illinois, his children, Caitlyn Egger, Chicago,  Illinois, Melissa Egger, Chicago, Illinois,  Nathaniel Egger, Palatine, Illinois, and Trishia (Lance) Masias, New Braunfels, Texas, his grandchildren, Taylor Masias, Dallas, Texas,  Grace Masias, New Braunfels, Texas, and Chase Masias, New Braunfels, Texas, his siblings, Crystal (Bruce) Gooch, Colona, Illinois, Jerry Kopel, East Moline, Illinois, Robert Kopel,  East Moline, Illinois, and Nancy Kopel, East Moline, Illinois, host of nieces and nephews, girlfriend, Marcie Rudd, and his best friend, Butkus (his dog).

He was proceeded in death his mother, Mary Jane Egger.
