Tyrone Eugene Adams

Tyrone Adams, 58, of Alton, Illinois, passed away, Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Alton Memorial Hospital, Alton, Illinois.

Graveside services will be 12:15 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Hampton Township Cemetery, Hampton, Illinois.  Visitation will be two hours prior to the graveside at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., 1902-3^rd Avenue East Moline. Illinois.  Rev. Berlin Gray Jr. of Liberty Baptist Church, Chicago, IL will officiate.  All covid-19 restrictions will be enforced; everyone must wear a mask, social distance, and a total of fifty people can be in the funeral home at one time.

Tyrone Eugene Adams was born June 28, 1962 in Kansas City, Missouri; the son of Willie James and Christine Mae (Redd) Adams.  He was a 1980 graduate of United Township High School.  Tyrone graduated from Black Hawk College, and Northeast Missouri State University.  He held a Bachelors in Marketing. Tyrone was a member of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  He was an acknowledged Moor with roots at Mt. Zion Baptist Missionary Church, East Moline.  Tyrone was a seasoned Marketing professional whom for the past 10 years worked for C&C Market Research Company.  He worked at various locations in the US and finally landed in C&C’S St. Louis location.  In his dedicated role as a Market Research Analyst, he helped to compile qualitative and quantitative data for numerous research projects including package design, launching a new logo, and new product lines.  

Tyrone was the beloved father of Camden Hayes of Oneonta New York and Lamar Spearman of Detroit, Michigan.  He was the proud grandfather, of Max Hayes of Oneonta, New York, dear brother of Valerie Williams and Jacquelene Stewart.   Tyrone also held the title of Loving Partner, Brother-in-law, Uncle, Cousin, Nephew, Grandson, Friend, Mentor, and Confidant, just to name a few.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Christine Adams.
