Vivian Byrd Obituary
Our beloved mother, Vivian Byrd, 84, of Chicago, IL, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at Riverwood Rehab Center, East Moline. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 4, 2014, 11:00 12:00 p.m. at Prayer Tower Church of God in Christ, with services following at 12:00 p.m. Bishop Goodwin is officiating. Burial will follow at Burr Oak Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
Vivian was born August 22, 1929 in Vicksburg, MS, the daughter of Giles and Eunice Foster. She was a homemaker. She married Frank Byrd Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Demettriss, Davenport, IA, Raymond and Leonard, Chicago, and Thomas Foster, Arkansas, daughters, Joyce, Moline, Deloris Byrd, Georgia, Laura Carter, niece, Emma Watson, Chicago, and a host of other nieces and nephews and 18 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 3 children.
