Wayne Schumacher, Jr., 65, passed away Friday, December 5, 2025 at Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood, IL.
Ther will be no services. Cremation rites will be accorded.
Wayne Lee Schumacher was born October 16, 1960; the son of Wayne Lee and Kathleen (Bowling) Schumacher, Sr. He was a graduate of United Township High School.
He was a devoted fisherman; he found peace on the water not only for the joy of it, but also during the years he spent fishing as a career. He later worked in construction until a fall in his younger years changed the path of his life.
Though he stepped away from work, Wayne never stepped away from what mattered most — his family. His sense of humor could brighten any room, and his willingness to help anyone in need made him beloved by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
His survivors: his long-time girlfriend Anastasia (Chach) Del Rio, children; Wayne (bubba) Schumacher, Brittani (Justin) McIntosh, Sommer Schumacher and Daniel Schumacher, siblings, Mark Schumacher and Kennan Schumacher, grandchildren; Bailey, Kyler, Chasity, Brookie, Caden, Harley, Abigail, Lilli, KJ, Aviana, Ariela, Alonzo. And great grandchildren Lorenzo, Swayzee and one on the way!
His was proceeded by his parents Wayne and Kathleen Schumacher, his daughter, Christina Schumacher, both maternal and paternal grandparents, and niece, Leah Schumacher
