Wilda Mosher Obituary
Wilda J. Mosher 81, formerly of East Moline died Saturday June 21, 2014 at Meridian Care Center, Meridian, Idaho. Visitation will be Friday June 27, from 12:00 - 1p.m. with services following the visitation at 1:00 p. m. at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline,IL. Rev. Dan Cullett will officiate . Burial will be at the Rock Island Arsenal at 2p.m.
Wilda was born in East Moline IL. On June 28, 1932, the daughter of Oren and Mildred Anthony Loding. She married Ralph L. Mosher on April 21 1963. He passed away in 1983. Wilda worked as nurses aid for years at various State Hospitals and nursing homes retiring at age 62.
Her favorite hobby was reading, she loved hunting for new books at yard sales.
Survivors include son, Kenneth Meeks, Medford OR. daughters, Julie (John) Moden, E.Moline and Tina (George) Aitken Meridian, ID, step daughters, Peggy (Charles) Colburn, Barbara (Chuck) Wilson, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and 2 sisters.
