William Kahley Obituary
William Bill M. Kahley, 70, of East Moline, IL, died Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf, IA, following a long struggle resulting from a motorcycle accident in September 2011. A Celebration of Life will be held in his memory on August 25, 2012, at The Rock, Coal Valley, IL, from 1:00 5:00 p.m.
Bill was born August 25, 1941, the son of Amandus M. and Delores (Fix) Kahley. He married Connie (Hudson) Kahley in 1963, and later married Kaye (Bebout) Kahley in 1980, who preceded him in death. He worked in transportation management for 45 years, retiring in 2002.
Bill loved to ride motorcycles, playing golf, attending gun shows and camping. Bill loved spending time with his family and friends and he also enjoyed traveling to other states.
He is survived by his sons, Todd W. (Michelle) Kahley, Orion, IL, Kevin M. (Colleen) Kahley, Davenport, IA, Chad A. Kahley, Colona, IL, daughter, Diana L. Kahley, Silvis, IL, sister, Joann Starcevich, brother, Claude (Linda) Kahley, both of Punta Gorda, FL, grandchildren, Zachary, Austin, Lauren, Caleb, Kersten, Aubrey and Carson.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made to IHMVCU in an account for William Kahley.
