Willis L. Phillips, 78, of Milan, passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport.
Funeral services will 12:00 p.m., Thursday, September 29, 2022, at The Sanctuary Quad Cities, Silvis. Pastor Luke Levine will officiate. There will be a visitation one hour prior to services. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to the Rock Island Conservation Club.
Willis LeRoy Phillips was born July 5, 1944 in Aledo, Illinois: the son of Lester Vantile and Alice Mae (Fisher) Phillips. He was a 1962 graduate of Rock Island High School. Willis worked as a machinist at BMS Manufacturing, Milan, retiring in 2004. He married Robyn Weimer April 22, 2018 at The Sanctuary Quad Cities, Silvis.
Willis was a member of The Sanctuary Quad Cities and the Rock Island Conservation Club for many years. He was a huge Minnesota Vikings and NASCAR fan. Willis loved “his westerns” and blueberry donuts. He was quite the jokester. Willis loved spending time with his grandchildren. He loved his wife dearly.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Robyn Weimer, Milan, his children, Patrick (Kimberly) Phillips, Milan, Brian (Denise) Phillips, East Moline, Jackie (Fernando) Juarez, Moline, Teddy Hines, Davenport, and Bobby Hines, Davenport, 16 grandchildren, and his sister, Debbie (Carl) Wade, St. Louis, Illinois.
He was preceded by his parents, his sisters, Wanda Evans, and Betty Faranda, his brother, Marvin Phillips, and his grandson, Bryan Phillips.
