Winferd A. "Bud" Frey, 74, of East Moline, IL, died Friday, December 26, 2014 at home. Visitation will be Saturday, January 3, 2015, 1:00 3:00 p.m. with services following at 3:00 p.m., at Sullivan-Ellis Mortuary, Ltd., East Moline.
Bud was born July 25, 1940 in Huggins, MO, the son of Wayne Sylvan and Anna Lorean (Guynn) Frey. He married Ellen Snyder in Milan, IL, July 11, 1970. Bud worked in construction for 50 years, retiring in 1988.
He loved fishing, golf and camping. Bud loved being with his family. He retired from Local 309 as president and business agent.
He is survived by his wife, Ellen, stepson, Robert (Jennifer) Miller, East Moline, granddaughters, Courtney Miller, Davenport, Stephanie Thurman, East Moline, grandsons, Brody Prescott, and Logan Derby, both of East Moline, great grandchildren, Paige, Brooklyn, Cloee, Akasha, a host of nieces, nephews and sister-in-law, Pam (Dick Miller) DeLoach, Colchester, IL . and his puppies, Paco, Sissy, Boo and Ducce. He is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters
